How Should We Respond?

Victims of unwelcome behavior that qualifies as sexual harassment are often unwilling to tell the perpetrator or notify others because they are afraid others will think they are "making too much" of the incident. This reluctance increases the likelihood that sexual harassment will continue to occur. If you do not feel comfortable communicating directly with the offender verbally or in writing, you should contact the Institute's compliance officer.
